Product Launch featuring a Global Gaming Tournament
Com2Us, one of the largest South Korean mobile and online game developers, was looking to launch their latest title - Summoners War: Lost Centuria - with a bang. In order to make sure their game got off to a stellar start, they enlisted our help in securing the influencer list for the World 100 Invitational pre-launch event.
The World 100 Invitational was a global event where 100 influencers across 20 countries competed in a live-stream tournament event with the grand prize pool of $150,000. As part of this event, we crafted a strategy to secure influencer/celebrity activations that could seamlessly meld the East Asian and American culture, while bolstering attention from the press in a positive way.
Participants included many notable influencers and celebrities, such as, Super Junior singer Eun-hyuk, comedian Jinho Lee, Charles Melton, and popular gaming streamers Shofu, Voyboy, KingGeorge, and more.The event generated 4.6 million views worldwide, a $10,000 donation to the Asian Mental Health Collective charity, and secured over 1 million pre-launch registrations - skyrocketing the game to No.1 on the Apple App Store in Korea, Germany, France, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
